This 657 is a very nice pistol, 41 magnum is my favorite caliber for a woods carry revolver...
I bought this with the funky scope mount attached, no machining or any work done for it to fit...
I don't have the rear sight, I probably have a rear sight somewhere, maybe...
I included images of my 44 with a nice rear sight for reference with a red dot rail built in, that's the way to go imo...
My day's in the Alaskan oil field in the 80's the 41 magnum was preferred over the 44mag, 41 had better penitration in the thick fat over the 44 magnum...
