S&W 5906 adjustable site suggestions?

Hey guys. I have a friend who owns one of these and it shoots 4-6 inches low regardless of shooter. He wants to put on an adjustable rear site, but is having trouble finding anything that will fit. Anyone out there know of anything that would work?

Also, if we try to do it ourselves, have any of you tried? Did you have to have it machined or did it come out OK?
