Just installed one of these - turns your 10/22 into a bolt gun for sub sonic
colossic.com
comes with a light recoil spring
by indexing the lock open, you can still fire semi auto, but only with sub sonic or standard velocity ammo
I can only say, works as advertised
I have 3 brands of sub sonic .22 ammo - sounds like an air rifle
a member once asked me if I change springs in my 10/22 when I change ammo
well - not really - I have three 10/22, one with light spring and this bolt lock for sub sonic ammo
one with Kidd standard spring for standard velocity
one with Kidd heavy spring for Mini Mags
Kidd triggers in all three
I would recommend this bolt lock only if your building a dedicated sub sonic 10/22
now I know, someone is going say "why not just buy a .22 bolt gun"
have one - a Remington Nylon, but I prefer the Ruger 10/22
spent $900 building a Tony Kidd 10/22 that will put 10 rnds in a single hole at 50 yrds
