Selling my Ruger American Magpul Hunter bolt action rifle chambered in .308 Win/7.62x51 Nato.
It is 100% brand new, unfired and barely even handled. It was purchased somewhat recently and has just been sitting in the safe. Still have the original factory box all factory contents.
I was planning on building a budget/value based long range/precision/trainer rifle with it but plans and available funds have changed.
This model comes with the following:
*Magpul Precision Hunter stock in stealth/sniper grey color, with adjustable LOP and comb height (I have the the spacers for LOP).
*The trigger is adjustable, with a nice, crisp break, between 3-5 pounds.
*One-piece, three-lug bolt with 70 degree throw.
*Factory-installed, one-piece 20 MOA Picatinny steel scope rail with #8-40 screws.
*The Hunter also comes with a 20", cold hammer forged, chromemoly steel barrel with 5R rifling and a heavy contour, .850" at the muzzle. Also comes with a Ruger Precision Rifle Muzzle Brake. Has 5/8×24 threads under the muzzle device for those who run a suppressor.
*Comes with 1× Magpul PMAG 7.62 AI pattern 5 round magazine.
I am asking $800 or for the rifle. Trade value $850.
I would prefer that we do the transfer at an FFL local to Salem, Oregon.
I am NOT interested in shipping but I will travel within a reasonable distance for established NWF members.
