I stopped by the local shop today for some ammo and they were just unpacking this Ruger 22/45 threaded barrel. I picked it up and it just felt like it belonged in my hand and about 30 minutes later I was out the door with it. Shooting it will have to wait for the weekend though.

    I'll stick with my Pac-Lite.

Nice! I just picked up the same one a couple of weeks ago. You got a better price. I dropped a red dot on mine. Trigger pulls a little stiff. So a trigger kit is on the way. Have fun shooting!

I don't like the color of the top or the excessive labeling, but I do like the idea

That is a very nice gun. My LGS had one...I debated on buying it since I already have a 22/45. It was sold the next day lol. Keep us posted on the performance of yours.

My 22/45 is one of my most fun guns to shoot. It is always accurate and cheap to boot. I have the "Hunter" model.

Here is an updated picture of mine after adding a Bushnell Red Dot and grips from Majestic Arms. My trigger is pretty good but that will be the next upgrade.

I think all these configurations look great.
