Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Anyone have a suggestion on how I can get rid of the trigger creep on my 77/17. I replaced the sear and the trigger is lighter but it has alot of creep and quite a bit of over travel I'm fairly sure I can install a screw for the overtravel but I don't know what to do about the creep.
You will have to reduce sear engagement to get rid of creep. If you are uncomfortable stoning your trigger and sear have a gunsmith do it. It isn't real hard but you should go real slow, taking off tiny amounts at a time.
