One of the best things about the older 10/22's versus the new ones is that they work with the cheaper Butler Creek magazines. I have owned several 10/22's over the years and the newer ones all jam with Butler Creeks, the older ones dont. GLWS.

Yup...Ruger changed the feed angle on the newer guns ( can't remember exactly when ), Butler Creek never changed their mags. Because of this, they got a bad rep for being "jam-o-matics". Ever wonder why the BX mags have adjustable feed lips? ;)

I have a two lifetime supply of Hot-lips mags thanks to BiMart black friday sales...:)


Earlier 10/22s don't come up for sale often, someone grab this!
