So I love 124gr nukes with 4.1 vv320 1.06 oal. Phenomenal out of all my pistols. Just bought a PSA AV9 in a 8" barrel kind of a impulse buy and something I don't have and we now what Oregon's doing! Do I need to change my load data up? Might work up a load with Cfe pistol since its easier to buy locally but love the Vv. Any thoughts or tips would be great. I've shot Cfe pistol at 5.3 grains same length not as accurate but pretty good though dirty!

I've never choreographed them, I should. Going off of accuracy and burn rate I feel pretty good with these loads. 320 Vv at 4.1 no big reason to chrono it, shoots amazing lots of data at that load from others. cFE I'd chrono before I would load a ton, even though it's accuracy wise

I'd chrono it before it tried to choreograph it.

Some people's kids...

:D

Just "Plunk Test" them. I'm in the same boat now, very soon, with 9mm and .38/.357 mag. I've been loading for two guns that wouldn't chamber at the OAL in the books.
This is what I did when I worked up my load, made sure it chambered in all of my 9s. Got lucky when I added a new AR that it plunked!

I always set OAL by plunking in my shortest barrel finding the longest I can go, and then backing it off a little. And then trying all the rest of the barrels for good measure, but I have one aftermarket that is a good bit shorter than the rest.
