I met him a couple of times back in the 1990's, he was a very nice guy and took the time to talk guns for a while after he was done shooting.

Crap! This guy was so full of himself it was unreal. But then he would back it up, and that was even more unreal. What an incredible shooter. I 'spose that when you are as good as he was, you are "allowed" to tell the world how good you are before you show them.

I was just asking a question, we all know that Mr. Munden handled tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of lead cartridges. do you suppose that they had anything to do with his untimely passing?

RIP. I still can't get over the idea that someone born in 1942 was SEVENTY YEARS old!!! That's only a couple years off from my sister and a lot closer to me than I care to admit.

70 is not "untimely." 70 is a little shy of average. My dad died at just barely 71, didn't smoke, or drink, rode his bike to work every day and was in decent shape. When your number is up, it's up.
