Removing 1911 barrel link pin

I have some link pins here, just need to take the measurement.

Definitely not a good photographer, but the link pin and block showed up. Looks like a match, will research the above info before I potentially wreck something by just taking it to the range with the Stormlake threaded barrel. The dark color of the new link pin in the Stormlake makes it appear smaller, but in person they look the same.

If you're just replacing the pin, all should be good to go...nothing more to check.

The pin should fit snug, shouldn't need to install it with a sledge hammer, but there should be some resistance.

Yes, there was some resistance. Not like the pin in the original/unthreaded barrel though. I swear that one is in there for life. That is why I decided to go with a new one for the new threaded (drop in) Stormlake. The new link moves forward/backward freely just like in the factory barrel.
