I used to watch this on PBS several years ago and finally got ahold of some of the DVDs. The humor of watching Red create an grossly unsafe invention through duct tape and destruction of a vehicle is still funny.

Red's catch phrases are: "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." and "Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati" ("When all else fails, play dead").

Never seen the show, but have a friend who's a fan and hear that quote (among others) often hehe.

Graham Green was great when he was on the show. It was a real good show until a network picked the show up. Harold, Red's nephew was weird and the adventures with Bill segment was always funny. Classic stuff. I also liked the animal control guy. There's too much funny stuff to list.
