Red Dot for M1A & Garand... Bubba not needed....

Back when we were in fear of an AWB passing here in WA... I started looking at my Garand and thinking that it could replace my carbine as my defensive rifle if such a ban occurred....


Its pretty much good to go, serving America well in securing the world..... but, being used to an optic, I wanted to see what options there were for the Garand.

Scout rails weren't impressing me and I didn't want to alter the gun in any way.

That is when I found out about the Hopco mount!

Yup. That was it! I can install it myself and when I want Irons back, I can just remove the Hopco base and reinstall the rear sight!

Forgot to add...

I havent actually fired it yet, I just got it installed. Ill update.

Also, they do have three different mounts that will accommodate pretty much all of the popular MROs out there... Trijicon, Burris, Vortex, etc...

Definitely the way to go on an M1A or Garand

Damn I have to say I am very impressed. Looks like a great damn idea and love how it does nothing to change the original rifle.

The mounts are US made and go for $100

I found mine on ebay for $50 though
