Also might want to try a Optimator if you're in to imports. 'One of my favorites'
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Spaten Optimator.
Or Dopple-Hirsch Dopple Bock.

Too bad Spaten's Oktoberfest is only available for a couple of months a year. I'd drink that stuff rear 'round if'n I could.

"Black & Tan" Any local stout and pale ale will suffice. If you've never enjoyed this mix, ask for one at any Irish pub. You will be surprised how good this tastes.
Youtube has a video showing how to pour one of these.

My favorites are probably the Rogue Oatmeal Stout and Chocolate Stout. If you're looking for something really dark, I like Deschutes Obsidian, but it's kind of an acquired taste. Recently, I've been picking up the Widmer Drifter IPA just for something lighter.

If you like these give Tannenbaum a try from Gold Valley Brewery here in McMinnville or any of the Fire Mountain Brewery's beers out of Carlton, especially their stout.
