Don't get sucked into arguments/debates where your opponent is telling you we need to get rid of guns because the data says so.

Our rights are nonnegotiable!

And they damn sure aren't predicated on what some idiot anti-gunner says is the right or wrong datapoint in some wildly corrupt study somewhere.

Entertaining these discussions only further encourages these idiots to think that our rights are up for discussion, and cancellable, if they can just show the proper data points.

If gun control laws worked....then why do we "need" so many of them...?

A law , ban , restriction , etc...only works if someone is willing to obey it.
Criminals , by their nature and actions don't obey laws.

As far as a law , ban , restriction , etc...Keeping one safe...
It's not any of the above that will keep one safe...a person and their actions are safe or they are not.
