Eagle gutta percha grips original.
5.5" barrel, "1 of 1093 known factory nickel plated", according to "The Official Record, 1873-1895"- by Wilkersons and Hoyt.
Non etched/stamped "Frontier Six Shooter. Wilkersons & Hoyt "The Official Record, 1873-1895" identified 414, 44-40 guns that were not marked during the transition and concluded there could be as, many as, "600 or more "Transition from etched panel "Frontiers Six Shooter (FSS) guns to the roll marked FSS panel guns was approximately between 1889-1890. (Page 337)
I did not have it etched or stamped as such because the original finish did not show even a hint of it ever being there.
My intention was to see it as original to its beginnings.
Adams & Adams of Vermont did the finish work for me. Mr. John Adams Sr. stated the revolver was, "tight, in very nice condition, not used up, and worthy of a re-nickel."
As noted there were only 1093 known, 44-40, 5.5" nickel guns made between 1873 and 1895. (pages 337 & 338, from "The Record")

All photos were shot with an iPhone Pro 13. Majority of photos were taken outside in natural light on a slightly overcast day at 12:30 P.M. Some were taken inside under artificial light.
