Perfect, thanks for the infoAlbany Rifle Pistol Clubs monthly sub gun match on Saturdays allows PCCs with braces.
Must be pistol caliber only and nothing else.
Haha good to know, I looked on the calendar and found USPSA listed on Saturday, is that the correct one?If you are nice and cordial, some of the subgun owners will usually offer you their machine guns to use in the match if you bring your own factory ammo.
any way I can get more info/details on the sub gun competition? I am interested as wellIts usually the 3rd Saturday of the month.
ARPC North Range Bay # 3 9 AM - 3 PM
Bring guns & ammo, expect anything.
Subguns & Semi-Autos
Speak up if you have any ideas for a match.
We are on the calendar for next Saturday again, not going to cancel it
since it's almost a week out from Xmas this year. So we can have a match
(or not) or just do whatever and enjoy some shooting. Mr Willams has made
some cool targets for us (a wig wag and a 10 foot trolley mover) we could
test those a bit. This could be a good tech/test day as well for you
'less than match ready' stuff. If you have any ideas or will make it
please email me ([email protected])
What do you mean by badges?Speed steel at ARPC is every month on the 4th Sunday. PCC in centerfire or rimfire, optics or irons. Same with pistols. Blade, brace or stock, nobody cares and we don't need no stinking badges!
ETA: Tri-county also has a monthly speed steel with the same categories. It's a lot of fun at either club.
Nobody is going to be asking if you bow to the crown or your tax status. What do you mean by badges?
oh ok, gotchaNobody is going to be asking if you bow to the crown or your tax status.
Are the sub gun matches listed on ARPC calendar as:Albany Rifle Pistol Clubs monthly sub gun match on Saturdays allows PCCs with braces.
Must be pistol caliber only and nothing else.
Yes, they are quiet about it but yes that's the one.
Depends which squad you're on. On some quads, you might get some "let's get this party started" comments as others start showing how it's done!I did the ARPC match and once the binary switch on a AR9 got flipped while raising up. Should have heard all the Elmers freak out.
It had a brace.
Dang that's funny. If one shot will do the trick, why not give'em 20 just to make sure. Looks like fun.
He was the last contestant and they made up a rule that he needs to finish it the quickest and with the most shots on a target.Dang that's funny. If one shot will do the trick, why not give'em 20 just to make sure. Looks like fun.
