Certainly was not supporting the moron who shot him and watching the video its really hard to tell what was going on. If the people in the car maybe knew him and he was some rival? If they were trying to "help" they were lucky they did not hit anyone else the way they were shooting. Easy to see why they did not stick around. poor gal working there probably quit.
