question-I keep getting logged out

Can someone tell me why? This is a new thing in the last few months, but I can't take more than about a couple minutes (like typing a reply) or I'm logged out and lose what I typed. I don't know if it's my pc setting or forum setting, but I can't figure it out. thx

Check the little box next to where you type your name and password. That will keep you logged in.

The back button has to be hit several times, to change back to previous screens.

This is an issue many of us have experienced for quite some time. In the past, I was always logged in. Now, there is nothing I can do to stay signed in, and have to sign in even after short absences to other sites.

No longer a huge issue to me, I just know that I have to log in every time. And knowing that, I don't come to this site quite so often. A good thing.

Thanks for all the replies, but still a no go. This is the only site that does this to me, other sites that i log into don't log me out after a few minutes. I'll keep looking. Thanks again everybody.

Checking that box when logging in solved this problem for me.

That is the problem. We do check that box and it still does not keep us logged in.
