The biggest improvement you can make is to replace the factory trigger connector with an OEM Glock (-) connector and do the polish job.

Unless you just want a smooth trigger rather than a serrated trigger.
 
I have a Gen-4 9mm McNally trigger and was curious if it would work in my Gen-3 .40....not sure if it backwards compatible and would work in a different caliber.

Everything has been polished up, but I don't know what the differences are....I suppose I can just take it apart and compare.
