I don't know the long history on the rifle. My dad has owned it for at least 15 years and bought from a friend that has since passed away. My understanding was it was original, but I don't know for sure.

Thanks. Any idea when it was added? Originals had a steel buttplate, no pad. Can you measure length of pull? I think the stock has been cut down.

Yes, it has engraved bolt with matching serial number "203690". Looks a little funky though. Not sure if they all look this way.

Not sure when the but pad was added but length of pull is about 13" or a little over, so I doubt it was cut down.

Just so you know, the stock was cut down. An original stock would have the inletting for the widows peak for the steel butt plate. The stock lop was 13 1/2" from the factory. The stock also appears to be refinished. The rifle is not in original condition. Im not saying this to deter people from buying it, just stating the obvious. Good luck with your sale.
