I've been looking for the last couple days to see if this has been posted, so please deleted/correct/redirect if already posted.
I saw on the local news Thursday someone charged with, among other things, an "illegal" AR15, apparantly because it had an 8" barrel. I believe it was in SE Portland, someone associated with Basecamp Brewery, not sure what else I provide without breaking the new news linking rule, the old rule on quoting news articles, and the new rule on non-firearms political discourse. I'm curious if this was a recent Sig Brace type AR pistol and will be the first test case I'm aware of, an actual SBR, or just a mistake. Should it be this first, and go to trial, the decision and possible appeals would be quite interesting.
Anyone know any more?
