So, as a few may have seen, I've shared me recent rifle purchase/pix & it's my very 1st ever owned/handled "bolt-action" rifle.
So, having bought this online, it sent to a local FFLer, I'll admit I didn't fine tooth comb over it, but did look it over.
However, I did miss looking under the bolt handle, only to discover lil later after the lovely 10 business day wait,
& after having picked it up & back home, did I discover "223" scribed under bolt handle :s0092:
I do know 223 & 6.5 Creedmoor or any 6.5 cartridge isn't the same at all.

There's a slight bit of slop when operating the action, I'm not sure what's excessive, but once it's seated & locked in place...
not sloppy at all.

Btw, the barrel is indeed factory stamped 6.5 Creedmoor
Wtf, my fellow :s0010::s0014:enthusiasts?:s0107::s0107:?

That location, underside of bolt handle, is typically reserved for hand engraving (electro-pencil) the last 3 digits of the serial number. Does the serial number on the receiver end in: "223"?
