No, you actually don't want DHS to replace local law enforcement. And don't underestimate the complacency of the general public. How many times have you heard some one say, "well, it's ok if it makes us safer." Or, "it's ok if it's for the children." We've seen this path before in recent history and the good people of this country need to resist it and elect people who will decrease government involvement in our daily affairs, not continue to increase it.

DHS is already driving to be the money behind local law enforcement, with the caveat being local law enforcement do their bidding. Might as well cut out the obfuscation and shock the sheeple and fence-sitters into awareness.

The sheeple that can be turned will never wake up with the slow creep of totalitarianism.

Great survey; just wish it was something like 150k instead of 15k. Still, it's worth taking note of.

15,000 is an amazing number for any survey! Look at most national polls that you see in the news and you are lucky to find one over 2,000 people. I have worked with clients and got actionable results with as little as 500 respondents.
