I just ran across this. What do you guys, particularly you LEOs think about it?

I'm sure it's mostly due to beaucracy/budget stresses than anything else.

It's hard to pay attention to info like this without seeing how many aren't resigning.

Think about how many police chiefs there actually are in the country.

More likely to do with the budgets and the beaucracy (as Clearconscience stated) than anything else. No chief wants to be held responsible for letting officers go and then crime spikeing...a lot of the new policies would mean that the Chiefs themselves would need to hit the roads to make up for the loss in manpower and ask more from their reserve counterparts.

No way! These guys are nuts. God Aton is a friggin wimp everyone knows that! He's all about prancing around in his 3D life stream. Theres not a chance he'll help us stop the impending Sloid Reptilian Zombie Barbarians (SRZB's for short) invasion.

OK, police chiefs quit, retire or loose there jobs. Heck, I often and sometimes daily visit an officer website and the headline news on that site about officers or pertaining to officers just blows me away. Every week and sometimes daily there are LEO's getting into trouble in the same ways the criminals they arrest do. Its amazing to me to see how far this countries Police Departments have falling. The honorable police men and women are being replaced by thugs, thieves, porn junkies, murders, liars and all types of law breakers. Just visit there own web sites and see for yourself. And yes the Chiefs are caught up in it to. Its a shame!
