Pistol of Choice for Plate Match at Clark Rifle

Anyone here shoot the plate matches up at Clark Rifle? I've been to four of them now, and shoot an XDM 9mm in the autoloader class. I put a PRP trigger kit in it and am pretty happy with it.

Question is: If you were going to put together a pistol for this, what would you get? Glock, Sig, 1911, XDM, Beretta, etc? 9mm, .40, .45 or other?

Optics? Red Dot? Fiber Optic sight?
