  1. I have read and accept the classified system rules and terms of service.

This shoots similar to a .30-.30. Steel silhouette targets at 200m, hunting, varmints eradication.
Beautiful deep blueing you have to see to believe. The custom compartmentalized box alone is worth $100.

Buyer pays transfer fees and any shipping costs if any.
The .358 is a 35 caliber rifle cartridge based on a necked up. 308 Winchester created by Winchester in 1955.

That is a ridiculously good deal - the action and stock are worth the asking price.
358 win dies are easy to find (as are brass and bullets).

Good luck with sale!

The second photo is a tad blurry, but it looks like there is some markings on the front receiver ring, knowing what that said would clear up a bunch of questions. Also knowing who the 'smith was would help as well.

I purchased the pistol in 1987 from "Division Firearm Center", on SE Division, Portland OR. Now out of business and the owner is long deceased.
Marking on the top of the receiver read: "U.S., Model of 1917, Eddystone, and a serial number." The bolt also appears to be original but modified.
The barrel appears to have been purchased and attached to the receiver.
There were no special permits needed when I purchased it, I gave him my money and walked out with the gun.
It's not some sawed-off rifle, it's a legally manufactured pistol by a licensed gunsmith made to the specifications of the IHMSA.
