I'm actually hoping to make a short range trip after work that day if plans don't get bumped. Got a few newer guns that need to be broken in - it would be a great day to do it.

Just started to re-read "Patriots The men who started the American Revolution." By A.J. Langguth.
This is a older book ( 1988 ) but still very good. Langguth uses a lot of period sources and writings from the "men who were there" as well.

Johnathan Parker of the Lexington Militia was a former Ranger of Roger's Rangers , during the French and Indian war.
( as were several others in the Lexington and Concord Militia ) ....
Parker , was one of the reasons I volunteered for Ranger School...:D
