The only dis-service about it is a company that cannot compete in the quality arena. Your $hitty barrel rifling is not the only negative thing I have heard about after talking to several people who bought them. $299 may have been TOO good to be true - well maybe TRUE, but not so good. Anyone remember the Yugo and the various methods dealers used to 'dump' them?
I wasn't aware FG has owned Para for a few years now. I am still a firm believer that competition drives innovation and that consumers are the ultimate winner when that happens. Unfortunately in this case, they were already under the Remington umbrella and we will soon be seeing the Remington Warthog R1-14 or some variation of it soon.
