Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I live in oregon and some one from Washington is wanting to buy my pistol for sale or maybe trade how do we go about doing it is just a bill of sale ok or do u need more?
Thanks for the help
Face to face sale across state lines is a felony. You would have to transfer through an FFL to be legal. And since its a pistol, it must be transferred to the buyer at an FFL in his state.
By law you are required to go through an ffl and have the firearms transfered to each others names. anything less is highly illegal. If you were both residents of the same state then you wouldn't even need the bill of sale unless either you or him personally wanted to fill one out.
If our Supporting Vendors don't have what you're looking for, use these links before making a purchase and we will receive a small percentage of the sale
