Wouldn't surprise me if this expanded to taxing the privilege of new food, new water, new electricity, new shoes.....
PERSIf there is a tax that voters reject, IE sales tax. They repackage and re-brand it and pass it.
The big question is what does this theft of our money supposedly pay for?
They taxed the hell out of tobacco, $2.00+ per pack of smokes, cigars, and Pipe/loose tobacco! Can't even mail order it now with out having to pay Oregon it's pound of flesh!And now they are adding more on to the liquor tax. I am surprised they did not tax toilet paper when it was in high demand.
