Sure would be hilarious if people who wanted decriminalization of drugs went and voted out the lawmakers who passed this bill to recriminalize drugs

So now it's a misdemeanor to have the drugs, but you can still totally go to a treatment program and not get the misdemeanor. But you can probably just not show up to the program and nobody will care. So this accomplished nothing. Bravo, legislature.

Not much of law, more of a "general guideline", which gives the local jurisdiction latitude to not charge the criminals with a misdemeanor. The new law won't change anything in the leftist controlled counties, but might help in the conservative areas of the State.

This is called law makers who made a HUGE mess, now running to camera's to say they are going to "fix it". The rubes who voted them in and are now REALLY pissed off will most likely give them another term to make another mess. Will be fun to watch from a distance. Feel bad for those in the middle of this.
