Hello,

Me and my wife booked a fully outfitted buck hunt for this year (2019). The area we are going to hold good size bucks and is great country. I few things I want opinions on.

It's a 5 day hunt. Assuming we will see bucks right away...(it's a 100% hunt)

Do you hold out for a few days before you pull the trigger on a buck?

Shoot the first buck you see?

Would hate to be done within 24 hrs of the hunt lol

Any past experiences you might of had please tell me in a comment or message.

You should have a firm idea on what you consider to be a shooter. If it's the first deer you see, shoot it. If not wait. The thread title says it's a guided hunt, so the guide would be the first person to talk to regarding realistic expectations as well as judging a shooter.

If your looking for a trophy, your doing it wrong.

Guides and all the money spent on them don't guarantee you a bigger set of antlers on day 4 or 5
