I was watching a dimwit governor talking after potato joe tossed in the towell. He was singing the praises of joes programs including the deficit control act, the debt reduction act, the infrastructure bill. I just sat there with my mouth open thinking "WTF planet have you been living on"? Said he couldn't be prouder of potato joe!

Some of the law makers who talk like that most likely are just really good at lying. A lot of them have to actually believe that 💩 they spread though. It can be amazing to watch but it does become some kind of mental disorder with a lot of people. :s0092:

Speaking of cheap pizza. I picked up some Triple Pepperoni Totinos pizzas for .99 each at my favorite discount food store. They also had a big bag of Pepperoni slices for cheap. Can you say quadruple bypass pizza :)
Fixed it for you

That does it. It's been way too long and I don't care what their prices have gone to but Ima get me a medium flying pie pizza this weekend.. probably the carnivore or whatever.
The large probably weighs twelve pounds and nobody needs that.

Those look like delicate little nugs of goodness. Flying Pie puts the boner in decadent
Right. Each has its place and role. Lately I have been more into smaller/thinner because that's what my pizza oven is made for. But sometimes 'the meat engorgement' is great too.

It's called, "gas lighting", kids!

Straight outta 1984…. remember, "freedom is slavery", "war is peace".

As long as the masses have their booze, weed (and more), fatty foods, and porn they'll go along with it and even believe it.

Yep, sadly I have said for a long time we have just had it too easy for too long. Most truly just have no clue just how good what they have is. They will not until they lose it. Many of them are what were called "useful idiots". :s0092:

Well…. they're definitely idiots, but they're utterly useless (to me anyway).

Let them be the first to wander into danger. Stack 'em like sandbags, they can catch the incoming rounds…. Have plenty of lime on hand too.

Chipotle raised prices six times since 2021 and kept them high — even as costs have flattened.

The result?

Profits jumped 110%. It authorized $400M in stock buybacks. Its CEO was paid $22.4M in 2023...1,354 times the median Chipotle employee.

What's really driving inflation?

Energy... Without it, nothing will move especially in America. Time is Money!

The people buying the food.

Chipotle, the hallmark of the American economy!

There are a lot of other major companies with the opposite trend, decreasing revenue and profits, especially when adjusted for inflation, despite the increase in prices.

The official blue-koolaid line is that the problem isn't inflation, but corporate greed, runaway capitalism, the evils of the American system, and the fix isn't fiscal responsibility but more socialism.
