A few years ago the Washington Post (IIRC) got busted for using sockpuppet account to post clickbait on Reddit so people would go to the WaPo website more than normal

I can't remember the last time I received stamped mail that was actually useful to me. Most of it has just been paper copies of digitally delivered items that I already read.

Packages can be handled better by private companies. USPS only still exists due to their monopoly on putting things into mailboxes.
