A friend dredged this up from his father's estate.

Is there anyone who can give me a rough idea how old this is based on the labels?

I've never heard of anyone collecting old cleaning supplies; I'm just curious.

Thanks!

The wooden shotgun rod may be somewhat collectible. I'd like to see the Westinghouse box just to see what it is. I'd be interested in the Lyman sight if it is in the box!! The rest of it isn't old enough to be collectible.

The cardboard is in great shape, from what I can see.
Not any huge cash value, but it's cool.

Using about half of the stuff to make a shadowbox would be a good project, for a man with the skills. And the free time.

Not gonna guess but he metal case is an indictor to me. I would look for price tags as an indicator and also google images for specific boxes and maybe the kit. Probably could find at least the decade.

I've got a bunch of the exact same stuff in my kit, and some in another box that has been replaced by more "modern" lubricants.
It's stuff my Dad bought, so I figure 50s-early 60s?
The wooden rod might be older. I don't have one of those. Pretty cool!
