Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
A friend of mine was rummaging through his grandfathers stuff and found an old single barrel shotgun. The only markings on it 44-shot and pat. 1913 on the barrel and Ranger engraved on the receiver. Anybody have any info about these?
I don't know much about that gun. Try spending some time on Google. Within about five minutes of doing so I found out that the Ranger shotguns were sold in department stores. Possibly Sears or Montgomery Ward. They supposedly retailed for between $100-150. It may have been manufactured by Stevens. I have no idea of the value of this particular gun. Hopes this gives you a little bit of info.
