"38,718 names in a database of individuals who have been found at-risk for owning guns by psychiatrists and other health professionals."
And they are really just getting started. The "other health professionals" is troubling as well.

"These are individuals who, under no circumstances, should have guns."

This is the same reason that Veterans don't want to get treatment for PTSD. It labels you.

"Come talk to us. We are here to help you get better;" then behind closed doors it's, "THIS GUY IS A PSYCHO! He'll murder us all!"

T.Y.S.
For the skeptics out there that think spilling your personal
life to a Medical worker in this day and age is no big deal.:rolleyes:
Why do you think the gov wants to have full access to your records.
And why they prod Doctors and staff to ask in depth questions.
It "tain't" all for thee children folks.
So unless you actually do have some serious psychological issue you need help with, do not volunteer anything and beware of non medical questions designed to accumulate data.
It will someday come back and haunt or harm you.
Keep your discussions to actual medical related issues and not peripherals.
