Doesn't the state have to pay for property at normal retail value for any property that it takes? As I remember that's in the Constitution. But I'm not a lawyer and I've never played one on TV either.

Well, since I would estimate that 80%+ of the residents of Mass. think current gun laws are far to LOOSE, I don't think that political fight is going anywhere. There's a reason we left that Hellhole, and NY and NJ is just as bad.
