Just an update, ran a few earlier today zero wait OSP picked right up. Towards later in the afternoon at most there is a caller or two from last week and around 20 in queue online is the norm.

Reporting in that the queue remains at a cool light 20 +/-. Now's the time boys, before things heat back up M114 wise ;-)

Another instant for me today. Picked up a nice little concealed carry. Anyone have any holster recommendations?

If you got the 20inch barrel, you may be able to fit it in your back pocket, I have the 29inch and it barely fits. Lol. Nice purchase 👌

Anybody buy a gun since the Govt. shutdown?

Thanks! was looking for this thread to move your post to. … darned phones…

Appreciate it & curios myself.
@.45's and .38's did a gun trade on Sunday, and everything went through same day at the FFL. Dont think there were any issues since it is the NICS system, which is a state system not Federal to my understanding . . .

FICS is the state system. NICS is the federal system, but I think it also gets used by the state when a check gets submitted to FICS in addition to their own stuff. From what I've heard everywhere NICS is still working, but I'm not sure if it's completely normal or if only the automated parts are working and a delay at the federal level would have to wait for the shutdown to end to get resolved.

I called Northwest Armory this morning and they said there was between 300-400 people in the queue. They provided an estimated 1 to 2 days wait time.
We're getting people through in 20 minutes! OSP queues online have gone up a little bit, we see maybe 20-30 in the queue consistently. We call most of ours in as OSP picks up in about 20 minutes and the background only takes about five to process. That doesn't seem right.

I will say what is being affected by the shutdown is Form 1 and 4 processing through E-Forms. We've been seeing Form 4s come back consistently in a few days but since the shutdown we've got a few that have been stalled the entire duration of the shutdown.

Updating this thread, ended up going in the queue for the first time in years. Wait time was only about 45 minutes yesterday, but I went late in the day, so had to return this AM to pick up.

Picked me up a nice Shower Gun . . . WAIT WHOOPS WRONG THREAD! ;-)

Entered the queue at 36 yesterday, took about 25 minutes to get a "pending" reply. Checked today and now it shows as "delayed" till 12/13. bubblegum me, just got my concealed permit earlier this month so I know I am clean.
