"Both state and federal laws provide that the dealer may deliver the handgun to the purchaser after a three business day period, if OSP does not provide notice that the purchaser has been approved or denied."

If a dealer really wants to support the fight and join the cause, they'd be following this rule and releasing firearms to those who have been waiting 3 plus days.

Exactly!!!

I asked my FFL about this yesterday (if they'd release firearms if OSP took way too long - like three weeks and measure 114 deadline was looming)...they were not interested in even hearing what I was saying. :(

That is once it is "under review", in the quest doesn't count towards the 3 days.

Few years back, I was told by a place that previously followed the 3-day rule that the OSP verbally instructed them to ignore the law "because of the liability" and that's a direct quote. Wow, intimidation, that's great!

Idaho will sell you anything, except for whatever is restricted in your state. No need to ship to an ffl in your state. I just got a 28ga Browning BPS over Stateline from spokane. Took about 5 minutes to get approved

I always was told it has to be transfer to the state you reside in. Sounds like there's an exception for long guns out of state?

Yes. Until the permit to purchase goes into effect. At that time, you'll have to bring your permission slip to other states to purchase long guns from an FFL.

This is where it really gets stupid. Other states or gun parts stores giving in to some other states bullbubblegum. Why is an FFL in Colorado helping oregon infringe ? Why is some online shop in another state giving in to BS magazine bans just SHIP THAT bubblegum
