So after a few weeks of 70-80 hour work weeks I finally got a chance to take her out to the range. Pistol felt good put 250rnds downrange and function was great with the 8rnd Kimber mags and the 10rnd Wilson's. Accuracy was good but still shot my CZ's better. The Vortex wont change brightness so its gonna go to Vortex when I get a chance. No regret!;)

Over the weekend I saw a red-dot on a 1911. Can't recall if it was Sat (IDPA) or Sun (Steel) looked a bit odd being the optic was wider than the pistol. But, it fit - could be a carry option for some.

I looked this up just now and didn't find it. But if memory serves, it was Mark Twain who said something like, "Pay for quality the first time and feel the sting only once."
