Pocket pistols are for lazy people who can claim to carry daily but care more about comfort than effectiveness. I know that a lot of people will disagree with me and I'm good with that. I'm 5'10 and 165 pounds, go to the gym daily and carry a G19, G45 or G17 daily. I prefer to carry something I am confident and proficient with and for me that isn't a micro pistol. If you can run a micro pistol more power to you but the pocket carry as a primary carry method has to be one of the slowest ways to draw a gun. Seconds matter.
Before I sold it, I had no trouble gaining the same or better accuracy with the Glock, rather than the Smith 686 that I let go of.

This was the G26, with the stumpy yet stout grip, and pinkie hanging off.

Something should be said for lightweight pistols. At the range, holding up the 686, I gave up after 50 rounds. I have long arms, and workout so am not weak. Fatigue, though, was unavoidable. 100 rounds w/either the G26 or G43X are a pleasure.

I guess I disagree. Except for mitigating recoil, I don't see any advantage to bigger guns.

We don't have to agree. That's OK. The average person is going to shoot lets say a Glock 17 or Glock 34 much better than a Glock 43 or Glock 26. I am not saying you cant be proficient with a smaller gun if you put some serious time behind it. But there is a reason why guys and gals run courses with compact or full size guns and then put a micro pistol in their pocket or waistband when they get back home. They simply are not enjoyable or easy to shoot. They are however comfortable and easy to carry. I guess you gotta weigh the Pros and Cons and decide for yourself. Luckily CCW is not a cookie cutter system and we have tons of options. YMMV.
