Just purchased a Vortex Viper. Am mounting it on a model 70 300HH Winchester. This was my father's rifle. He had a really old Leupold mounted. Old rings are too small. The bracket mount holes are shown with measurements. What mount/rail will fit this pattern. Suggestions?

It's a 30mm tube
If it had a one piece base it was likely a Leupold with 1" rings.
It could have been a Redfield as well and they are inter-changeable.
If so, then all you would need would be the 30mm rings if you want to re-use the base.

1) Contact Leupold to make sure that their 30mm rings will fit that base.
2) Ask them to help you order the CORRECT HEIGHT rings for your particular scope and rifle.

Thanks for all your help. Used the original Redfield base. Mounted 30mm Leopold super high standard rings. My father would be happy. This rifle was what he called "meat in the pot". Its a model 70 winchester HH magnum manufactured in 1956. He rechambered it in 300 Weatherby. Now it's time to sight it in for long range with this new optic.
