This is the Savage Model 25 in .222 Rem that I've waited a year for and shot for the first time today. I topped it with a Burris Signature HD 3-15x44 scope. This was only going to be a shake down with my current 50gr load for my 340 so I could get some brass measurements, but I'm calling it good since the brass measured out fine and I got 3,000fps out of it. Plus I have 400 rounds loaded up already.

Center orange was 25 yard sight in. .7" low = zero at 100. Top left orange is 3 shots from the 25. Black target is the come back to 25 from 100.

Between the 25 and 100 yard shots I ran a bore snake through the barrel and I was surprised that it made such a difference in the group size. 4 shot groups starting top left, then top right, then center which reads .385". Then followed by eye shots on the rats. Lol
