    That's not far from Goat Mt is it? I think I stumbled on that place without knowing where I was. There are a few places not far after crossing the bridge heading for Mollala also, higher up.

    I was kinda hungover from the campout.

    There were plenty of other machine guns for you to play with.:laugh:

    Ghostring did a mag dump through my 605.

    I'd never met him before. Kinda cool to meet another Retro Black Rifle fan. He took a pic of both of our 653s.

    i have been going ther for over 20 years and have never seen so many people up there. Hahaha if you guys keep telling others were th good spots are they will be over packed everytime you try to go. And there are plenty of spots up there for shooting way over 100 yards. I have a place were i shoot up there and i get about 300 yard range. But you have to be carefull up there because bullets come out of the sky all the time, i had one strike a stomp 5 yards away from me. A good place but WAY to many people shooting and riding bikes.

    There are many good spots farther back in the mountains but you drive half the day away getting there....Memaloose hasn't exactly been a secret the last 20 years either...

    the only time i go there now is to test my hand loads and i have a sercret spot you have to hike a mile into. Its about a 300 yards range i made a few years back, Shooting table and all:)

    Do you have to take a hedge trimmer or chainsaw to it every year to keep it clear?

    Most of the time i dont but this year i did. Ive had it up there for 3 years, draged concreate up there and made a nice shooting table and a shack so i can stay dry when its starts getting ****ty out.

    Glad to see you made it over from Survivors SKS.
    If the weather gets a little nicer i am thinking about heading out to DRRC for some pistol pratice,interested ?

    sure, drive by there every day going to work. what all do i need as im not a member there, i know they allow non member sight in for hunting season...
