It is Halloween. Perhaps he took out a bunch of ghosts before offing himself.

Interesting situation. There was apparently a note in the bathroom where he was found that said he's no killer and just wanted to see the caves (I'm assuming there were caves in the park) But they can't confirm yet if it was left by him...but they think it was.

Glad nobody else was killed.
