How many Muslims do you know with Christian names like Anthony Williams?

:s0140:
Eh, a lot. As you pointed out, he was born in the UK. Islam is a religion. Like being Catholic or Jewish. You can be born anywhere and look like anyone.

I was born and grew up in LA with millions of people and a large black community, where there are a lot of...Muslims.

Yeah I used to work in a place called Dearborn. I've been invited to Muslim weddings, and dated Muslim women (who obviously were not very traditional). Dearborn is right next to Detroit, where, as you might guess, there are plenty of black people. Unsurprisingly I am aware that Islam is a religion.

What I can find about conversions to Islam in the UK says that about 3% are black people but the vast majority are women. So black British man born with Christian names probably have about a 1% chance of converting to Islam. Often but not always will they change their names. Most of the black Muslims in the UK are from Africa (vs the Carribean or other places) and are born into it, and do not have Christian names.

So sure, he could be a Muslim, it is just extremely unlikely.

All true. The, shoot them in the back, reference (from my original reply) comes from the Addams Family. Uncle Fester said it more than once.

It's not about Muslims. It was about all these people that commit mass attacks on innocent people.

"Hurry, help me finish this bottle of Jack Daniels so I can defend myself!"

I wonder if Jack paid for "product placement" in this story??

I'm sure you understand that this is not, or not just, about Muslims. Others who kneejerk accusations about particular groups of people don't seem to.

I understand that sometimes months or years pass by and posts lose their context. Tomorrow, I may not even remember what I meant. I just wanted to make some points as clear as I could.
