I have an older Remington 740 30-06 and need a new magazine for it. Went to the local sporting goods store and they had magazines for 7400 but didn't list 740. Are the magazines interchangable between the two?
Yes, I have a 7400 and every time I replace a mag these are listed for 740 as well. So, those should work. Bring in your 740 mag and it should match up almost perfectly.
