WTB OR M1 Garand parade rifle

I'm a member of the Portland USSVI (SubVets) and they are looking for volunteers for the Honor Guard.

I'd like to volunteer, but I need an M1 Garand, as each member has to have their own. Let me know if you have one I can borrow on parade days or if you'd be willing to sell it to me.

Are you wanting a decommissioned rifle? Or one that still functions?

If functional. I think you are going to need to buy one.
With the laws today. I can't even legally loan you one of mine.

Anyways keep an eye on the Rifle Classified adds. Maybe do a ''search''.
Their have been a few for sale in the last couple months. And may still be for sale. Just rolled back a bunch of pages in the Classifieds.

What are you expecting to pay?

Allso if you just need something that looks the part.
There are places that sell drill rifles.
