Title says it all. Looking for a good condition M1 Garand, ideally in 308 but if the price is right, I can do my own conversion.

CMP has M1's for $700. If you're about to offer me your M1 for $2,000, I might as well go to Fulton and have the warranty for an extra $100.

I have oodles of firearms to make up any difference in cash price. I'd prefer trades to cash, and I'm happy to stack the deck in your favor. I've been after an M1 for a while, and if I don't find one in the next month, I'm simply going to go to CMP, grab one, and convert it myself. I estimate that project at $1,000, so there's a rough benchmark for what I'm willing to pay in cash. Anything beyond that, needs to be a trade. Shoot me a PM anytime.
